The Roots are one of my all-time favorite bands, and likely one of many other people’s favorites as well. They have a new album coming out around the beginning of October titled “How I Got Over.” The first song from the album has the same title…How I Got Over lyrics are below, and the song as a video. The Lonely Island have been creating some funny music videos recently. Not sure if y’all have seen “I’m On a Boat (featuring T-Pain), but it’s pretty hilarious. It’s a great parody on rap videos, particularly those P Diddy videos. Some classic moments from the video include the random helicopters that fly into the picture in slow motion, burgers, and of course…the muthafuckin’ boat. It’s definitely worth reading the lyrics after watching the video…I noticed a few things I hadn’t heard the first I watched the video. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments…
