Supposedly, Dinosaur Rap (lyrics below) by Whitest Kids U’ Know (WKUK) is the first rap song about getting high with dinosaurs. This is probably true, though I’m not 100% certain. Either way, the Whitest Kids You Know are certainly claiming that accomplishment with their latest song, Dino Rap. If anyone has ever rapped about dinosaurs, my first guess would be Outkast.

Regardless of who rapped about dinosaurs first, this NYC comedy troupe has been putting out some funny material, so you’ll be seeing more of their stuff here as I’ve caught myself laughing at their material more often these days. “You’re welcome…internet.”

    I believe that’s “ankylosaurus” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankylosaurus), given that there was never such a thing as “a kellasaurus”. Also, it’s “pteradon,” not “teridon,” “dilophosaurus,” not “laphasaurus,” and “allosaurus,” not “allisaurus”. Granted, it took me about ten minutes of Googling to find and confirm all those spellings, so I don’t blame you.

    I am glad someone said to correct the dino names. I think this song is hilarious, but being a paleo major, i want the dino names to be spelt correctly in the lyrics – dilophosaurus is still spelt horribly wrong…and he’s my fav.
